My amazing students come from a variety of backgrounds to create a very diverse and rich learning environment. About 97% of the students in our school qualify for free and reduced lunches. Because of the percentage of this population, all our students receive free breakfast and lunch each day. My students are some of the most amazing, caring, and inventive children I have ever met. They are always ready to learn and often challenge me to learn and become better as well. Two of their favorite ways to learn are through technology and movement. I want to be able to provide my students with as many opportunities as possible to learn in the way that works best for them. Because of this, our classroom often works on a center rotation or choice boards incorporating movement, technology, group and independent work into the mix!
