Working with children has been my goal since I was in high school. I can't believe that it's been over a decade already! This year, I am with fifth graders... Twenty-three of them... all in one room, with about two-thirds of my class as English Language Learners. They're full of energy and are so inquisitive and always wanting to know more. I am trying many different ways to help them be the best learners and encourage them to put in their best effort, even when their best effort may not get them a perfect score.

About my class
