Each day, my 10th grade global history students interrogate the past and grapple with their understanding of our world today by analyzing primary and secondary sources, developing argumentative essays, and leading animated classroom discussions. Binders are a classic organization tool to help scaffold the complex content and skills in a history class. This project will provide one, durable 1/2" three-ring binder to each student. The completed binder will become their personalized study guide for the New York State Regents exam in Global History and Geography in June 2020 - a high-stakes history exam that is required for graduation. This Avery-brand, heavy-duty binder is durable enough to withstand daily use all year.
