Our school was 1 of 7 schools in New Jersey awarded with a grant from Disney Theatrical Group. This grant, in participation with NJPAC, will allow us to build a sustainable musical-theater program. Disney Musicals in Schools presents a special opportunity for public elementary schools to bring the magic of student performance to their communities. This grant provides licensing and 2 teaching artists from NJPAC to help us put on a production of Aladdin. We are thrilled to be chosen, but we are also in need of supplies to make the Disney magic come to life. Our students are a uniquely talented group of individuals whose voices deserve to be heard. In order to make our dream a reality, we need microphones which will allow every audience member to hear and enjoy our production of Aladdin. The students can be seen and heard singing and dancing through the halls, but we want to ensure that they'll also be heard on stage. Your donation will provide us with microphones that will allow us to put on productions year after year. The students are ecstatic to participate in this program and we want to ensure that this experience continues throughout the years. With your help, we can show our students a whole new world of theater.
