My students need hygiene and health items such as sanitary napkins, deodorant, and cleaning wipes, in order to have a healthy and comfortable school year without bullying, due to the lack of hygiene supplies.My female students often have accidents at school and do not come prepared with sanitary napkins. By having a girls hygiene kit in their backpack they will feel safe and secure, knowing that they have the supplies needed if an emergency arose. My students are coming from various backgrounds and I want to be sure that they are comfortable and learning in an environment that is clean and free of germs and odors. I want students to be able to focus on their lessons and their talents, rather than stress over issues that are out of their control. Because of this I have also added items such as the Nutri-grain cereal bars and Welch's fruit snacks. Adding these items will allow students to have something to eat between meals to calm their hunger and allow them to focus.
