My students live in Anaheim, California. Over 90% of the school's student population receive free and reduced lunch. Over 84% of my class are English Language Learners. More importantly, my students are incredibly eager to learn. They work hard, and if given a level playing field, they would come out on top. They know what struggle is, and they know that people are pushing for them, and will do whatever it takes to honor those who commit to seeing them achieve great things.
