Students in my room are encouraged to work in groups and communicate. Before Covid, we always sat in groups, and I plan to implement that again this year. When working collectively, students like to get up and move, settle in somewhere comfy, and feel relaxed while expressing their thoughts and completing work. Students also become restless and need some kind of alternative to their stiff plastic seats that they rotate through for 8 hours a day. Your donation toward my classroom's flexible seating would help to improve and increase student attention and focus and, therefore, ultimately help to increase academic achievement.

About my class
