I am a Fourth Grade teacher at a year round, extended day charter school in an urban environment. My twenty two fourth grade students are excited, energetic, and eager to learn, despite the challenges in their daily lives! Our student population is 99% African American, and 95% come from low income homes. As a school, we work diligently to provide the students with a wide variety of experiences that they would not usually encounter. We seek to provide students with opportunities to become not only successful students, but lifelong learners who are globally competitive and strive for absolute excellence.

About my class
