My students needs a new class set of dry erase white-boards. I was disappointed when I saw that there were only ten whiteboards remaining in the classroom I was assigned to. Each is extremely worn down with chunks missing and peeling corners, and students are unable to have their own due to the size of the class. A set of new individual white boards can be utilized as a tool to give my students immediate and precise feedback on the skills they are learning and practicing. The white boards are used as an accountability tool that help to engage my students during independent practice of a skill. The range of uses for these whiteboards can be everything from mathematical reasoning and problem solving, to English vocabulary development and writing skills. Individual dry erase boards can help my students to build team-work skills as they are often used in small groups. They serve as a quick and efficient writing tool for them to use during science, literacy, and math. They can be used as a "quick check" check at any time to determine both class and individual understanding.
