Technology is a vital component of classrooms, and often the students with the highest level of need get the least amount of support. These laptops will empower my students to become more self-sufficient, independent learners as needed to experience success in the post-secondary setting of their choice and beyond! As these students become of age to work towards independent living to the greatest extent possible, we need to provide them with the tools for success. Since most employment applications are online and contain extended response questions, it is important for students to be able to showcase their skills. Providing this much-needed technology will give these young adults the skills they need to transition from high school to becoming productive members of society.
