My students are second graders at a charter school created through a unique partnership between a local charter management organization and our former school district. Our school serves a population of students that are predominantly English Language Learners and 89% of whom are eligible for free or reduced-price lunch program. We are an arts-integrated school that utilizes learning expeditions to promote student inquiry and engagement and prioritizes family and community partnerships in order to meet our students' academic and social-emotional needs.
