The air conditioner will help the air quality in the classroom. Many of the students suffer from asthma and the heat makes it difficult to breath. It is also extremely difficult for the students to focus if they are constantly hot and uncomfortable. In an effort to conserve paper and make our school more environmentally friendly, the whiteboards allow frequent practice without wasting paper. We are working to help our students become more aware of the need to truly protect the Earth and it's resources. Providing the students with reusable materials helps students see the need for limiting the amount of trash produced daily. The whiteboards will help the students to master the Common Core State Standard of graphing in math. This will allow students the ability to master the skill of graphing with frequent and independent practice.
