I want to bring my students books that they feel relate to their lives. I want them to be exposed to their cultural and ethnic roots from the binning to the end of their early childhood experience. My school community has been very welcoming, trying very hard to incorporate the multicultural aspects of our community into the classroom curriculum. I would love to be able to add to this in our pre-k classrooms. I work in 4 classrooms and I have shared from my personal library, but it is not enough. I want to give each classroom books that we can rotate and add to depending on the seasons and holidays and such. Everything is welcomed and appreciated from the bottom of our hearts. We work with low income families and this would give some students the literary experience they don't have at home. Thank you for your time and donation!
