I am currently a 9th and 10th grade special education teacher in New York. I teach Mathematics, English, Global Studies and Science in a supportive and encouraging learning environment. Students at our school have severe learning disabilities as well as emotional issues that they struggle with on a daily basis. Many students qualify for free lunch. Students in my classroom live in disadvantaged areas and many times the school environment is a place to learn and grow!
