My students are the BEST part of my job, and they make my day with everything they say and do! My students attend an urban charter school and are all of Somali or East African origin. Almost all of them were born in Minnesota, but some recently arrived in the United States within the past few years. Over 90% of my students qualify for the free and reduced lunch program, and 100% of my students speak a language other than English at home. My students LOVE working on the computer, and it always amazes me how quickly they learn how to use each program I introduce them to, even with limited English proficiency.
