I have the privilege of being a special education resource room teacher at Madrona Elementary, a Dual Language school in South Seattle, WA. My job is to support our students with different learning needs and their teachers to ensure they feel success and love learning! Unfortunately, due to the changing dynamics of our city, many of our students struggle with transitional housing, food insecurity, and chronic stress.
