"Have you ever wondered why the first thing you see when you walk into the children’s section of a library or a bookstore is a beautiful display of books with the cover facing out? It’s because seeing those colorful, engaging illustrations on the covers of board books, picture books, chapter books, and even nonfiction books draws children in much more strongly than the spine of a book (with a title that many children can’t yet read…)!" (childrenslitlove.com) Having front facing books displayed in a Kindergarten classroom is crucial, which is why I would love to provide this display bookcase for my Kindergarten students' classroom library. I want to help foster my students' love of reading and I think this addition would make it easier for my students to explore the books that interest them.
