I would like to provide the entire 3rd grade class the opportunity to learn using Scholastic Readers. These resources are a fun and engaging way to learn current events, history, and science. Students will receive one reader a month. This reader contains the opportunity for students to practice 3rd grade reading skills while helping them to cultivate academic interests! Students will develop critical thinking skills by learning material related to current events, science, history, as well as about other peoples and cultures. These articles will open up the opportunity for classroom discussion based on the subject matter. Students will also get to take home their reader when finished!
