A rug will help students feel more at home in their school. This 120 chart rug also doubles as a math supply. Instead of hopscotch with chalk, my students will be able to actively count by 2,5,10s while still having a place to go to listen to stories away from their desk. The large carpet will be placed in the front of the classroom and used as a gathering place during mini-lessons and share time. This carpet will be the focal point of the classroom and I think that it is important that my students have a place to go for learning that makes them comfortable.
