I have a wide range of readers in this classroom. I want students who are still learning to read to feel successful reading a book on their own with predictable texts and supportive pictures. I want to challenge the students who are reading above grade level with books that are still age appropriate for them. I want to challenge my students as well as have them feel successful when reading. By having the guided reading leveled books I will be able to differentiate instruction in small groups and have students read books that are appropriate for their reading levels. I want them to love reading and stay passionate about the books they read.

About my class
