As a first year teacher I am building my classroom from the ground up. The supplies in this project are essential to creating a welcoming environment, so my kids do not have to worry about bringing their own supplies. The supplies in this project are essential to our learning environment. We need crayons, markers, pencils, and highlighters to showcase our learning. We need storage items like pencil pouches and book bins to stay organized. The cleaning items are essential to keep our classroom nice and tidy. We need bright color paper, anchor chart paper, and art supplies to stimulate our minds and to make our learning stand out. We need testing folders to help minimize distractions so we can show what we know. All of these supplies will help my students be successful. They will be able to learn using classroom supplies they cannot access at home. They will be able to utilize every minute of the school day, with enough supplies to help their learning come to life.
