The materials that I have ordered will be used for centers and practice in the classroom. The materials will be beneficial to the students because they will have hands-on practice which will help them to better grasp the material being taught. These manipulatives will help build their Literacy, Writing and Mathematics skills. The tabletop easel will be used to build words and help Identify numbers. Using lower and upper case magnetic letters will help students learn the letters of the alphabet and sounds acquainted with each letter. Insight dominoes will help the children know how to blend sounds together (digraphs) and prepare the students for the basics of Reading. Practicing with the Magnetic Ten Frame Answer Board prepares them for basic addition and subtraction. Rainbow color sorting helps students with sorting in groups as well as learning their colors. Insight shapes bean bag helps students learn their shapes. The Fishing for Sight Words game will be used to help students practice sight words and build their vocabulary. The sentence building cards are to prepare students for writing complete sentences. These materials will help my students learn the skills that are necessary at the kindergarten level, skills such as learning to form basic words, and learning to identify beginning, middle, and ending sounds in words.
