My students have little access to different forms of technology and I believe including these forms of technology will increase student engagement for reading. Having a more organized library will allow scholars to get to designated books as they need. The book bins will play as a visual for students to get to the appropriate reading level so that they can grow and increase their reading level for the next grade. More audio for more engaged reading will make reading fun! The mp3 players will serve as a digital library. Students will have access to new books and can listen to their stories from the mp3 players. This system will assure students engagement and I hope it will increase student academics. I am also hoping for this to increase student's thoughts when writing. The iPads will have apps that are educational for students to create their own audio books. I would also like to have scholars create podcast and be able to share what they created with other scholars in the school.
