The students come from various backgrounds but all have been affected by the sluggish economy. The lack of resources at home and school make it difficult to provide the intensive differentiated instruction they need to be successful. A major goal for these students is to work collaboratively in the classroom and develop higher order thinking skills. Despite the hardships that are evident throughout this rural area, my students are respectful and eager to learn.

About my class
