Our students are inquisitive and eager to learn about the world of art. My students crave exposure, exposure, exposure! Exposure to life after high school, a larger word, and new way of thinking are what the arts have to offer. We are part of a national network of free, public charter schools that serves low-income students. Our primary goal is preparing students for college graduation. This is only the third year our high school of approximately 500 students has been open, and only the second year visual arts is offered. The students are excited to take an more advanced visual arts courses that can applied to daily life and prepare them for college.
