This materials will support my print-rich classroom by having culturally-sustaining books that my students can check out. They love to read and these are books that they could take home with them. By supporting this classroom you are facilitating a life long love of reading not only for my students but for their siblings at home. My students will use markers and journals for journaling and guided reflection to support their emotional wellness during the COVID-19 crisis. These journals will also be used to take notes for their classes because many of my students lack school supplies. The chair is for my desk, which I teach from every day.
