I currently have nineteen students in my Life Skills classroom. There are students from second grade to sixth grade, and they come and go all day long. Our school is a regular elementary school, and my students attend science and social studies with their regular education peers. They work with me in all the core classes. Many of my students receive Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy. They are wonderful children, and I get to work with them for 5 years. All of my students are like my own children. Sensory breaks are a routine part of our day, but we need more materials to help everyone calm down and take a break.
