This year our main goal is to encourage our students to read more. Personally, I would love to help my students foster a love for reading. In order to do this, kids need to have a wide variety of books to choose from. Many of my male students want to read nonfiction books about cars and sports. I'm a first-year teacher, so my classroom library isn't very large, but I'd love for them to find something that they are interested in reading. I also want to encourage students to read books pertaining to the STEM field. I hope that by having these books, my students can find a book that they will love!
