Nepali Class Boston, is purely a volunteer run, Nepalese language school for children of Nepalese immigrants primarily in the Greater Boston area focusing on raising culturally aware and confident children. It is very important for each of the communities in the Greater Boston area to maintain their own unique identity as they are blending in the American culture.
Why the need: We saw parents struggling to make ends meet on a day to day basis and we also saw them struggling morally not being able to teach their children about their rich cultural heritage. As much as they would like their children to learn their native language and get acquainted to their roots, they don't have the time nor the resources to help them with it and they live with this guilt every single day. Nepali Class Boston is their connection to Nepal and we strive to make learning native language fun and accessible! We serve children ages 4 to 14!
About my class
