Many of these books were listed as additional resources in our new curriculum to help deepen student understanding of each unit. I also chose some popular books and authors that will help connect science and literacy to each unit we are studying. The units of study include: citizenship, character, life science, point of view, technology and society, theme, history and culture, earth science, economics, and physical science. I did my best to include books for each unit. These are the "must-haves" for our kindergarten classroom that will really help excite our students to learn about various topics while also learning to enjoy reading and exploring the many reasons we use books.
