Due to a recent change in policy for Pre-K field trips, students are required to have booster seats in order to ride on the school buses that are provided. Unfortunately, these seats are not provided. Field trips give students educational experiences away from their regular school environment and help to enrich all the vital information being taught in the classroom,while allowing students, who all learn differently, to grasp information in a more concrete and visual way. They appeal to varied learning styles, which in turn helps students to succeed whether they are visual, auditory or kinesthetic learners. These activities are enriching experiences that every child should be able to attend! It would be a shame for students to miss such an educational and fun experience because they don't have a booster seat.
