Welcome! I'm so glad you stopped by to see what's new in Room 2. I teach 22 wiggly first graders who are working hard each and every day to become mathematicians, scientists, artists, readers, and writers. They are curious, enthusiastic, and motivated students. We celebrate our differences and find what we have in common in order to strengthen our community. I strive to provide a classroom that reflects my class' unique experiences while at the same time providing a window into cultures and experiences they've never before seen. Although I wish the school district could provide every resource I need, I have deep gratitude that members of my community are so willing to fill the gaps.
