In our school you will find that 50% of our students are on free and reduced lunch and 32% of them are minorities. My students approach this as a fact of life not a handicap. They work hard with what they have and give 100% every day. Our school is old and built with no air conditioning, so my students combat heat daily. I do not think they should have to struggle with the lack of supplies to learn as well.
