Students learn literacy through lyrics! Flocabulary is a learning program for all grades that uses educational hip-hop music to engage students and increase achievement across the curriculum. My students have been learning about Fictional texts with our free trial and I am amazed at the challenging resources and questions that they offer. The vocabulary sets are so helpful for building student knowledge of a subject. Students literally get the lyrics stuck in their heads which helps them to recall and apply important strategies when reading. We have enjoyed using this program thus far and really hope that we can continue to use this valuable resource.
