We are implementing College Preparatory Mathematics' Integrated II curriculum for the first time this year. There are many manipulatives that are integrated into the curriculum and must be made for the kids to use in their mathematical explorations. This course is geometry focused and very hands on. It looks more like a science class than a math class most days! I also teach AP Statistics, a hands on, practical course that pairs nicely with Integrated II. My hope with teaching the integrated curriculum my students will enter Statistics more prepared and better able to handle the rigor of this college level course.
