I teach in a racially diverse neighborhood in Northern California, and my classroom is comprised of what I think are some of the best, hardest working students around. We are fortunate to be getting a brand new school building that is supposed to be ready for the 2014-2015 school year. My students deserve a new environment where they can truly blossom and new books and supplies for them to enjoy. I am always impressed by their ability to overcome obstacles that even adults shouldn't have to face. For many time in my classroom is the most stable, safe, and consistent environment they will be in all day and, it is where they thrive. I am proud to teach such a stellar group of 2nd graders!
