For this next unit, students will be reading a dystopian novel in conjunction with Brave New World. My students are thirsty for new novels and I am trying to spice up the unit by providing interesting dystopian literature to supplement their primary novel. A lot of my students have never read a book from cover to cover, and with this project, they will have at least 2 under their belts. Students will be reading excerpts from Brave New World while discovering other dystopian worlds. Because we have such a low budget for books and materials, having these books will open a whole new world for our students.
