This year I will be sharing a classroom with another teacher, Ms. Wagner. We are so excited for this new opportunity and creating a classroom environment for over 60 students. We teach at a Title 1 school in Denver, CO in an urban setting. Our school population is comprised of low income students who receive free or reduced price lunch as well as universal free breakfast. Many of our students are struggling learners. Despite their individual challenges, they come to school each day, eager and ready to learn. I will also be teaching reading interventions for struggling readers in 3rd, 4th and 5th grade. I'm excited to help close the gap for many of our students and help them gain a love for reading!
