These kidney tables will help my co teacher and I quickly target students that need additional help, whether it be reteaching a skill, addressing a misunderstanding or completing a differentiated assignment. We can quickly and easily pull these targeted students to a small group and work with them without disturbing the environment of the rest of the class. Children learn best by working together cooperatively! By using these tables, students can learn together and separately from the rest of the class if needed. Grouping constantly changes, so all students will have different opportunities to sit at these kidney tables. Just like adults our children often get bored of sitting in the same seats and arrangements daily, so by adding these kidney table we give them the change in environment that keeps them engaged and interested. I want them to feel comfortable and at home in our classroom. I cannot wait to see all of the things we can do with flexible seating!
