I truly love my students. I believe my purpose is to give the best education to ALL of my current and future students to come! My students are so smart but just like any with autism spectrum disorder, it's difficult to focus. With the desk dividers, my students will be able to focus on the task at hand and work without distractions. The timer will be used for my students to physically see how much time is left in the period. It also helps me keep track of time to make sure I cover all parts of the lesson plan. At the end of the year, I want them to have the experience in all areas of Math, Science, Social Studies and ELA. Our world is evolving and technology can help my students have fun while learning. These Amazon Fire tablets will help my students achieve their IEP goals in a visual intriguing and more interactive way. The Amazon Fire tablets will help create skills with adding, subtracting, multiplying, time, money management and SO MUCH MORE! Money handling is an essential skill for our everyday lives. My goal is to help them be as independent as possible. For example, attain jobs such as being a cashier or simply making purchases on their own within the community. Another great factor for having the Amazon Fire tablets are being able to take data on their personal progression. The data formulates a visual of each individual goal, thus creating a strong rapport between teacher and parent regarding advancement of the child. The possibilities are endless with the use of the Amazon Fire tablets!
