These materials will allow for student choice and voice in the classroom. With flexible seating, I will be better able to build community and collaboration without my classroom. They will have more opportunities to talk to/work with their peers in a non-traditional setting. These materials will also allow for the much needed movement that 7th graders need. The stools and bean bag chairs will provide a comfortable space for students to work. The standing desk will help those that like to move be able to move and still get their work done. All in all, flexible seating will help my students and my classroom atmosphere tremendously!
