Hi everyone! My school is in one of the most diverse boroughs in NYC - Queens! Do you see the "board" in my classroom photo? Many of my students could not see from the SMART Board, so I made my own projection screen. I would love for my classroom to have our own devices for on-the-spot differentiation. With technology, students can easily present and share their knowledge with other students by using Google Drive. My middle school students will also use Khan Academy, IXL, Prodigy, and other math websites to help them master the skills they need for high school mathematics. Students will use these tools to also strengthen their 21st century skills. Furthermore, they will utilize them to conduct their own research of math topics. Technology will be especially beneficial for my English Language Learners, who can research math topics in their home language!
