You will encourage authentic reading in both languages allowing students to have real world examples of accurate writing. You will allow children to experience different worlds that teach empathy, struggle, overcoming odds, things that they already experience in their real lives. You are equipping students with the mental power to become successful citizens through reading. The students will read this life lessons and reflect by applying text to text and text to self connections allowing them to become in tune with real-life experiences we all face. You will become the changing force these students need to learn and not only learn in one language but in their native language as well and for that I am grateful.

About my class
