I am looking to gather a little bit of everything to get our classroom going so my students feel ownership and in control of their learning environment and curriculum: paper, glue sticks, and scissors will help my students with future project-based-learning assignments and math doodle notebooks for our transition to in-person learning. The poster frames will feature incredible, powerful artwork that reflects the students in my classroom, allowing them to see themselves represented, celebrated, and feeling inspired! The bulletin board materials will be put to use to dress up our walls and make the space more inviting for the students. Everything that goes up on the wall will be there for a reason and help my students feel comfortable, confident, and ready to master their 7th grade math standards and build their math confidence! Last but not least, the webcam and microphone will be used so my students can have the best, most effective distance learning lessons to start off the year. With these tools the transition from virtual to hybrid to in-person and everything in between will be achievable. As a newer teacher preparing for both virtual instruction and our eventual transition to the classroom, I need your help gathering the necessary resources to help my students THRIVE! This year, while still working away at my teaching degree, I have the privilege of teaching from a classroom! That is, once our current global pandemic allows us.
