Welcome! I teach 6th and 7th grade English which may include English Language Learners, mainstreamed special education students, and students with social or emotional needs. This means there is a huge range to reach and I must differentiate my teaching to accommodate my students' levels. I am fortunate to have a wonderful and supportive team! My school, CPMA, has students from other parts of the city so it's a big socioeconomic, racial mix. My goal is to encourage ALL students to enjoy reading and writing! I hope to nurture their social skills so they have a sense of community in our class. Here's to a great year!
