These flexible seating options (like comfortable mats and wiggle chairs) for my choir classes will help students stay more focused and comfortable during our 85 minute class periods! Allowing students to have numerous seating options creates a classroom culture that is more flexible and that students feel more comfortable in. In our area, we strive to make school as comfortable and home-like as possible, to best serve our students who may have unstable homes, or may be homeless. Flexible seating has been shown to increase focus in middle school students. Students who have flexible seating options have increased comfort in the class, leading to more positive learning experiences. Please help us improve our choir class, and help me create the best learning environment possible to serve my students.
