My children come into school everyday ready to learn. They try to bring all the materials that they need in order to learn. This can be difficult for these students and families because a majority of them are from low income areas around us. These students give their all everyday, and I want to be sure that I can give them all I can when they are with me every day. My students and I work hard every day to meet our standards. We read, write, and speak about the topics that we are learning together in order to fully understand. They are amazing children who only deserve the best when it comes to their education. I have been working to make my classroom a place of learning for these students. Supplies are limited, but I try to make learning fun and engaging for my students. I am not giving knowledge for the moment, I am giving them the tools that they will need to be successful learners for the rest of their lives.
