I am a fifth grade teacher in a Title 1 school which means that the majority of our students receive either free or reduced lunch. Many of the students in my school come from diverse backgrounds, and have attended multiple schools during their elementary school years. Even with daily obstacles, when I look at my students, I see doctors, teachers, college graduates, CEO's and maybe a few drama queens and comedians. My students are amazing! They are eager to learn, excited to participate and are full of questions. The one thing I know when I look at my students is that they deserve every opportunity! I could not be more proud to be their teacher.
