I have 22 kindergarten students in my classroom. Over 90% of our school population qualify for free or reduced lunch. Most of my students are English Language Learners and come to kindergarten with little to no previous academic exposure. Many of these children are exposed to difficult home lives that are too complicated for them to comprehend. As a school we aim to build strong relationships with our students and parents. My goal in the classroom is to provide a safe and nurturing environment where my students will grow and strive both academically and socially.

About my class
