I am a teacher of the deaf and blind and I service 13 students in my school district. Most of my students attend a self-contained special needs school, however I also provide services to students in mainstream schools across the district. Most of my students have special needs and require extensive technology and assistance to succeed in a school setting. My students work so hard to make small steps each school year. While progress for many of my students can be slow, I couldn't imagine working with any other population of students. It is such a honor to watch my students learn and grow!
